Thanksgiving Reflections
Ah the holidays with all the hustle, bustle, stress, family it is no wonder so many of us get to a point where we spend far too much time rushing than truly enjoying. This year, the holidays present a change in my life. Both of my parents have left us to be with the Lord.
As Thanksgiving got closer, this sense of sadness seemed to begin taking over my life. Then I realized what I was doing. “You create what you think about”. Yep….I was creating a sad holiday season thinking about the loss of my parents; thinking about what I no longer had.
To change the emotion of sadness, I began focusing on what I was grateful for: the joy and the fun times I had with Mom and Dad. The really different Thanksgivings we had, like the one we had meatballs and spaghetti out on the patio because we were in the middle of moving that weekend. Different stuff like that which brings a smile to one’s heart and joy at the blessings Mom and Dad were.
To all my friends who have lost someone dear to them, during this holiday season remember the joy they gave you. Focus on the happy times, and always, always be grateful they were in your lives for however long. You too may be able to find more joy than sadness this year.
Lastly, to all my network marketing friends, remember that the holidays are not getting in the way of your business. Your business grows no matter what time of year it is. I believe Jack Canfield said it best: “Being truly grateful for what is already present in your life will automatically and effortlessly attract more good into your life.”
The Law of Attraction is always working. Take time to truly develop the attitude of gratitude over these next 45 days and watch people come to you, and your business grow.
To all I wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving!! I appreciate all of your comments and look forward to reading them all.

Hi Paulette, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and the family is well. I think your Reflections post was excellent. It did resonate with me, living abroad for so long I needed to be reminded of what is happening at home. I had a chance to call them as they were recovering from their meal we reminisced about our family gatherings and there was so much laughter. Thank you
God bless
Carl
Hi Paulette,
I hear you load and clear. Yes we will miss our loved one’s and it is at times as such as these that we miss them most. But as you stated lets remember the good times.
Now there is nothing wrong with reflecting but remember that the process of reflecting is an acumulation of negative or positive thoughts in action. You become what you think about in that moment in time.
Let our thoughts always be of the good times.
Fantastic post Paulette.

Hi Paulette,
You know its good to reflect on occassions that have happened, whether they are negative or positive moments. As its a reflection of who you are today.
I too have learnt to be thankful and I am truely thankful for meeting you both and for keeping in touch and all that we have learnt together. Even with your loss good memories will always be there.
More great times are a head and your thanks giving will be a joyous one.
Lovely post Paulette
