The 5 Things Not In “The Secret”
Recently, I found this outline of an interview that Dr. Joe Vitale, of “The 
Secret” did. Thought you would all enjoy the information.
1. The power of intention (don’t have a counter intention).
Must discover and deal with the issues that are holding you back. These issues create the counter intention. Most lie in the subconscious. If you don’t deal with these issues, the counter intention will win. “Take responsibility for your life.” These issues are not your fault, but they are your responsibility.
Some of My Insights on Intention
Anthony Robbins says the same thing when he speaks of dealing with your inner beliefs that don’t serve you. Bob Proctor refers to these “issues” as paradigms. All of the greats say the same thing. The road to true happiness and success is change and that means dealing with the paradigms that are holding you back.
You cannot vibrate at a higher level, if you are stuck in the muck!
2. Factor holding us back “Money is the root of all evil.”
Actually, the Bible says “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Wealthy people don’t love money. They love the time and relationships money provides.
Money is nothing more than a tool to get quality time and quality relationships.
Learn to master and monitor your language when speaking about money. (I would add your thinking about money too.) Don’t look down on money. Remember the story of Atlas Shrugged.
3. The best way to change (program the mind) to achieve what we want is to use:
Emotion, Imagery and Action
Have the feeling, see the end result and take action.
4. There are 4 things to be done
A. Victim-hood – “Life of quiet desperation.”
Stop living with a victim mentality. Give up the idea of “why does this keep happening to me?” and all that type of thinking. Life simply is. I love the way Dani Johnson puts it: Life is nothing more than a big fat test.
B. Empowerment
C. Surrender: to the divine. (I am not in control of the universe.)
D. Awakening as the Divine. (Learning to commune with your higher authority.)
5. Question negative beliefs in a loving, curious, non-judgmental way. They are just beliefs, not reality.

Hi Paulette,
Like everybody (I presume) I must have these things buried in my subconscious preventing me from achieving all that I want to. However, I’m not sure how best to FIND them!. How do YOU discover your “programming demons”?
Perhaps it’s just a matter of ‘overwriting’ the existing programing with NEW (and better) thoughts?!

Hi Luke,
Some of the things I have done to become aware of my hidden Paradigms have been:
A. I ask myself what am I feeling about a particular task that I seem to avoid doing? Most of the time I have found that there is a fear of failure, fear of not measuring up, fear of success, fear of “it not happening for me”. Also discovered how stupid that thought process is.
B. I have also made it my mission to take the courses that have been reasonably affordable that were at my disposal, such as the “11 Forgotten Laws”, the SGR (now online). What they have done for me is bring to my conscious mind much of my erroneous thinking so I can then proceed to change.
C. Lastly, I found a program called Centerpointe.com. This process deals with the subconscious stuff that most of us are not even aware is there, and could take years to discover, if ever. In the last 6 months I’ve watched myself peel the onion of my subconscious mind and relate to my world differently. In many areas my confidence has leaped. The Centerpointe process is ongoing and I have embraced the challenges it presents, because the results have been phenomenal.
Luke, we all need help even though we are individually responsible for our growth. If I can ever assist you in any way, please do not hesitate. You are important.

I feel most fortunate to have met you and your teachings are absolutely awesome and very true!
Yes, after the Secret came to the public, everyone who read the book or watched the DVD, thought that they would become very wealthy over night. Wrong!
Learning is easy but it is the un-learning of the old belief systems that is difficult and yet most important.
Unfortunatelly most of us humans have been programmed for thousands of years to believe in poverty and self denials. Jesus said: “You cannot fill a full vessel”. Exactly!
As long our biological computer is filled with the belief systems and the lies of the old teachings, it cannot receive new and better programming.
GI-GO, garbage in-garbagge out!
Let us change that to:
Good In-Good Out, Gold In-Gold Out, God In-God Out!!!
You are doing God’s work by teaching people to re-program their biological computer. The subconscious mind does not judge nor does it recognise good from bad thus it gives us only whatever we put there. The choice is ours alone.
It is now time that mankind awakens from the deep dormancy of ignorance and discover the power of the human Mind as the power and presence of the God is within us as we are the co-creators with the Infinite.
Every one on Earth always prays for something, but only a few believe. Prayer is not a religious experience, but rather it is a spiritual technology. Visualization and Image-ation.
Whatever we sow….so shall we also reap! We do have the choice and we either choose to remain sound asleep or else we can awaken to the truth and the nature of our true being. Desire-Belief-Expectancy.
