If Network Marketing is about people, then how can I better understand how to connect with them?
Scott Bedbury’s topic is “branding”. So what’s “branding”?
Branding means creating an emotional association (such as the feeling of success, happiness, or relief) that customers form with the product, service, or company.
Branding isn’t just about logos, it’s the entire “feel” associated with a company. Branding is at the very heart of everything you do that touches the consumer.

• How we treat people has never been more important in the brand building process.
• It is about Values and Promises. Any good product is simply the starting point.
• There is incredible power in person to person branding. Almost 90% of the population do not believe the commercials they see today.

• With people you must: Build an emotional connection.

• Starbucks transcended the cup of coffee with emotional connections. Imagine- Coffee, sensory experience; coffee house- romance oasis, relationships, reflection, spiritual, must always taste good.

• Human Needs – Feel safe, recognized, welcomed, valued, something bigger, rewarded for efforts, love, love for someone else, empowered, successful
BRAND YOU
• Brand your strengths, acknowledge your weaknesses, build trust, deliver on promises
• You will have a profound impact for the product you represent.
• It is not just what we do but how we do it. Not just what we say but how we say it.
• Brand is sum total of what you think and feel about something. Be fully present in moments that matter most and in the little moments. Everything matters. Brands are affected by everything they come in contact with.
• As Network Marketers, YOU have the power to build a brand that big companies cannot.
• Mistakes are critical for moving forward and reaching our potential. America is defined by us.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Remember that Branding is at the heart of everything you do that touches the consumer. Branding is NOT about getting your prospects to choose you over your competition. Rather it is about getting your prospects to see you as the ONLY solution to their problem.
To wrap up what we’ve covered these last two weeks boils down to one simple truth:
What you think about most you become, and what you become is what you will attract.
If your business is not what you would like it to be, start with YOU, then look at how YOU relate to your prospects, and you will find many of your answers.
